Great Craic at Trish and Dave’s Wedding
First look, Smoke Bombs and Beaches
Trish is a photographer. Working for another photographer could be stressful. Luckily Trish is the most un-stressed person. Phew.
It was a super day with a lovely bunch of people and smoke bombs. Yes, my first time using smoke bombs. I’ve learnt a lot. Mainly you’ve gotta be quick, you need to know which way the wind is blowing and don’t put them anywhere near the Bride’s Dress (they are messy!!!). Great fun. All the fella’s were in their element, setting them off!
There was a ‘First look’ too, don’t miss that in the pics below! I know the whole first look thing is seen as an import from abroad, but I do like the whole concept. There is something really quite personal, romantic and intimate about couples seeing each other before the wedding. The walk up the aisle can be quite overwhelming, so being able to have the whole first look experience first can really suit some couples.
Enniscrone itself is gorgeous so I was delighted to get the couple down to the beach for some shots before heading to the Diamond Coast. It was a bit windy though!

Any tips for other couples planning their wedding? Book professionals & trust all your suppliers to do their job. And don’t stress, just enjoy the day! Oh and get a second pair of shoes for dancing, was my only regret!
Are there any additional vendors to include? – We had Vivienne from rosewater weddings in Castlebar decorate the church and venue and it took a lot of the stress out of it for us. she was really great.
Finally, any nice words about the photography?
Corin was just a joy to have in the house that morning and for the day. He was unobtrusive in the way he worked, capturing what was going on all around us. He did such an amazing job, didn’t miss a trick and we really are just so grateful for the images he has given us, we will treasure them forever.
