Quick overview of the three main types of wedding album that I supply
I use Queensberry of New Zealand and QT Albums for my wedding albums. All are bespoke and designed individually based on the clients wishes (and what suits their images). There are three main types of page finish:
Flushmount (a.k.a. ‘digital’ but I don’t like that name!) – where the pictures are placed on one continuous photographic printed page. The image can even go over the seam in the middle. Great for getting lots of images into an album
Overlay Matted – A matt with cut aperture and photographs placed behind. Quality and depth here. Can fit a lot of images in an album but usually less than in a flushmount album.
DUO – Queensberry’s own special way of combining the best of matted and flushmount. Gorgeous depth and quality feel with the deep cut mats but contrasted with full page flush images.
