Kaight and Alexander’s Irish Castle Wedding
Luttrellstown, famous for its beautiful grounds, super castle, amazing service, fab food and hosting celebrity weddings. It is just wonderful.
Kaight and Alexander hail from the US so I didn’t get to meet them in person until the wedding day. Skype was great though! It was all held on the grounds with a wonderfully personal and intimate Humanist ceremony. The hope was to have the wedding outside but the weather on the day didn’t play along with us. Luckily it cleared up later on and we managed to get shots outside. The grounds are just epic.
All in all, a wonderfully personal day, with great people. Hopefully they’ll be back for the an anniversary and I’ll get to meet up again!
Here’s a few details for you, thanks to Kaight.
Ceremony & Reception Venue: Luttrellstown Castle Resort
Ceremony Officiant: Anthony Colton
DJ – Garvan Rigby

What tips do you have for other couples planning their wedding?
If you have a small enough guest list, do a small and quick photo receiving line with them so you have frame-able pictures of each of your guests/groups with the bride/groom!
When you bustle your dress, have someone look at you from all angles to make sure it looks all good and tucked in too–that thing will be in every picture! 😛
General wedding: make a list of things you want someone (a friend or your day-off coordinator) to check that day (everything is put where you were picturing it, etc) so you don’t have to worry about all the little things! That said–don’t sweat the small stuff… are you still getting married? That’s all that ultimately matters 🙂
Are there any additional vendors to include?

Honeymoon plans? Where did you go? :
We ate our way around Europe in Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich!
Finally, any nice words about the photography? Be nice please! x
Corin was wonderful! The weather was being rather finicky so we weren’t able to do a lot of exploration photos around the grounds, but he made the most of the area immediately around the venue. Our biggest complaint: We ended up with so many amazing photos, it’s impossible to pick which ones we want to hang up (apparently we can’t wallpaper the house in wedding photos)!
Corin has a magic pouch–you’ll find yourself saying, I need to just pin this back, and Corin says, I have a pin! There were completely random things in there… it’s almost like he’s done this a few hundred times.
He has a great eye for composition. He was able to capture the feeling, the emotion, the movement… His photos tell a story. They also look like they belong in a magazine! He took photos that showed the love between us… but he also took photos that were so grand and epic, everyone who sees them is in awe!
